blanche
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Blanche is a puzzle-solving adventure. The player responsibly washes Blanche, a child's plush squirrel doll, in the washing machine. This proves disastrous for Blanche, who vows revenge.
Unique Features:
+ Written in Rust using the ggez game library. To display video, it uses mpv (and the mpv Rust library).
+ Utilizes video and photography to tell a story as the player explores and solves puzzles on Blanche's cell phone.

Install instructions
PC: Run `blanche.exe`
Mac: Run `blanche` (macOS Mojave user? See below.)**
Keyboard only.
+ Press ESC or BACKSPACE to go back.
+ "Shutdown" exits the game.
* If videos do not auto-play, they are viewable in `resources/videos`.
** macOS Mojave users - See a black window when the game starts up? Please move the window slightly to display the game. The latest version of SDL (2.0.8) contains a bug that prevents initial rendering in macOS Mojave. (We included a custom nightly build of SDL to hopefully prevent this.)
